Boy Scouts install bird boxes at Tarboo Wildlife Preserve

Volunteers form the core of NWI’s conservation work, from school kids and their parents planting trees at our annual Plant-A-Thon, to periodic restoration work parties, to individuals helping with wildlife and habitat monitoring projects, to internship opportunities in the field or office. Current opportunities include:

 • Seasonal internships

 • Winter salmon spawning surveys

 • Wildlife research and monitoring projects
